Frittelli arte contemporanea is pleased to present Gianluca Codeghini's exhibition entitled Blast: From Dust to Noise, curated by Elio Grazioli, which will open on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 6 p.m.
The exhibition brings together a variety of materials, techniques and expressions, images that come apart, that turn to dust, because indeed they are made of dust, along with various other ways of being shattered and of shattering, from explosions to breaks, outlining compositions that on the one hand call into question randomness and on the other an almost imperceptible operation of the artist at times.
Drawing becomes a random arrangement of signs that transforms into a map; painting becomes unfixed matter gradually decaying and altering the image; sculpture breaks into pieces that arrange themselves into a new configuration; words are used in their dual nature, meaning and image; the musical staff rotates 90 degrees; performance breaks objects and itself goes into fragments; a murmur of sounds evoked by porcelain figurines and small hidden woofers pervades and acts as the sonic element that keeps the entire exhibition together, assimilating it into a single installation.
