From 3 July to 13 September 2026, the PAC in Milan presents the latest edition of PERFORMING PAC, entitled These fragments I have shored against my ruins.

Taking as its starting point the ‘historical flashback’ of the 2001 exhibition dedicated to Kurt Schwitters, the project links Schwitters’s poetics of assemblage, fragmentation and stratification with the work of seven contemporary artists: Jacopo Benassi, John Bock, Gabriella Ciancimino, Roberto Cuoghi, Thomas Hirschhorn, Lucia Marcucci e Mika Rottenberg.

The exhibition Radical Subjectivity: Katalin Ladik and Tomaso Binga, curated by Branka Benčić, opening on Friday, 3 July, at 8:00 PM, brings together a selection of seminal works by Katalin Ladik and Tomaso Binga, among the most influential European artists working in experimental visual poetry at the intersection of language and image. 

Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati, the seat of the regional presidency, is hosting a retrospective dedicated to Lamberto Pignotti, thereby paying tribute to one of the greatest living Florentine artists, who is considered one of the founding fathers of Italian visual poetry.

From 29 May to 27 September 2026, MAMbo – the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna, part of the City of Bologna’s Civic Museums Department – will present Giuseppe Chiari 1926–2026.

Twenty years after his death, a major retrospective dedicated to the master of décollage traces sixty years of artistic exploration, showcasing the innovative power of a visual language that left its mark on 20th-century art. 
With over 100 works from museums, foundations and public and private collections, the exhibition offers a comprehensive and detailed overview of Rotella’s ceaseless artistic exploration, from 1945 to 2005.

We are delighted to announce that the exhibition *Nanni Balestrini. La rivolta illustrata (1963–2018)*, curated by Marco Scotini, has been extended until 22 May 2026.

The work of Balestrini (Milan 1935 – Rome 2019) takes centre stage in a new exhibition that spans the different periods of the artist’s career, featuring works that are largely unseen.
