5 September - 31 October 2026

We would like to draw your attention to the opening, on Saturday 5 September 2026, of the fourth instalment of the S.E.C.O.N.D.A. exhibition (Sequel Esponenziale Con Ordine Nascosto Da Analizzare), by Collage Project Studio, conceived, produced and curated by Matteo Boetti, at Palazzo Primavera and the CAOS Museum in Terni.

At Palazzo Primavera, the exhibition will feature:

- a generational comparison between Pino Pascali and Amedeo Longo, entitled Ludico Eros e Materia Ridens. Works by Pascali on display will include papers, transparencies, panels and metal sheets, produced between 1962 and 1967. These include some of his most iconic themes: weapons, the sea and graphic-style figures, often conceived for advertising and set-design contexts. The second exhibition, however, will feature exclusively sculptures and installations with partly similar themes. The young Longo presents works conceived and created with a playful and provocative approach, often making use of fine, traditional materials such as marble. This approach is characterised by the contradictory relationship between form and the material from which it is composed;

- Paolo Canevari’s solo exhibition entitled Materia, Memoria, Motori e Miracoli: la logica dell’Origine. The exhibition features landscapes created using used motor oil on paper and sculptures made from building pipes and tyres: works with a clear minimalist, post-conceptual and, to some extent, neo-Poverist influence.

Meanwhile, the Ronchini Room at the CAOS Museum will host a group exhibition by Andrea Aquilanti, Gianni Dessì and Laura Palmieri, entitled Siderali Palmeti e Aquile Palmate, which brings these three significant artists – each with their own distinct artistic vision and belonging to different generations – into dialogue with one another.
Andrea Aquilanti (Rome, 1960), whose practice spans painting, drawing, photography and video, presents for this occasion a three-dimensional work and a print using coloured gelatine and Indian ink.
Gianni Dessì (Rome, 1955), a leading figure of the San Lorenzo School, has experimented with both painting and sculpture since the outset of his career. His stylistic signature is marked by his unmistakable use of the colour yellow, which makes his work instantly recognisable.
Laura Palmieri (Naples, 1967) constructs, through ink drawings on paper, a fantastical bestiary in which oversized animals overlap with architectural forms, ironically altering our perception of them.

The exhibition is organised in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Terni, Arte Generali Assicurazioni, the Tempus Vitae cultural association, through the CAU – Cantiere di Arti Urbane project, Galleria Abbondio, Studio d’arte Campaiola, Frittelli arte contemporanea, Ronchini Contemporary Art Gallery, TornabuoniArte, Ettore Alloggia, and Gianfranco and Giulia Zocca.
