On Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 5 p.m., the exhibition Mimmo Rotella. Icone di carta [Paper Icons] curated by Gaspare Luigi Marcone, at Palazzo Parasi, in Cannobio (VB).
The exhibition, which which is under the patronage of the Mimmo Rotella Foundation, is a distillation of works covering a time span of about half a century, from the 1950s to 2004. From the earliest examples of retro d'affiches and décollage from 1954-1955 to the works of the Cinecittà “cycle,” begun by the artist in the late 1950s and developed with different approaches and subjects until the end of his career.
