ARTEFIERA 2022
On the occasion of ArteFiera 2022, Frittelli arte contemporanea presents a project, curated by Flaminio Gualdoni, dedicated to Dadamaino, which focuses on L'inconcio razionale [The Rational Unconscious] and Costellazioni [Constellations], i.e. the series immediately preceding it, in which Dadamaino abandons the methodological exactitude of the period of adherence to optical art and matures a true spatial writing, completely autonomous and without meaning.

They are paintings, as always. Conscious fragments, but each equally capable of a total experience. The accumulation and dispersion that occur within them are their very structure, the reason for their rigor.
Leonetti writes: “In my opinion, one can well notice: a) That the same earlier discourse in Dadamaino, that of the sheets, has a certain attained elementariness which is not of a single series of works, but almost in its own restart, presents itself with a consistent duration, not of mere new scans, but of a further period: similar to the levels of diversifications of other levels (both visual and semantic). Therefore, we are already facing with the sheets an epistemological discourse that affects the very status of painting; the research, now more tied to its authentic motive, investigates certain fundamental factors knowing that they do not exist, that there is nothing with the virtue of foundation — I repeat, already at the time of the sheets. b) Now this research becomes epistemologically aware, instead of presenting a recording and activating linearity. And therefore it substantiates and constitutes itself in nuclei and diffusion apparatuses, in updated centers and peripheral paths, in maps, in celestial vaults, etc. etc. as observation and theory of matter or movement, never definitive.”
Constellations. The light metaphor caresses the sense conjugated of hidden rule, self-founded order and mystery. Mentally.
